Sustainability as part of our philosophy
At Trinity Hotels & Resorts, we believe that quality hotel services can go hand in hand with a green approach. That's why we continuously introduce technologies that not only enhance guest comfort, but also contribute to the protection of the environment. From renewable energy, to energy efficiency, to environmentally friendly exterior solutions, our hotels are changing with the future in mind.
Renewable energy sources
Photovoltaic panels have been installed on the roofs of all our hotels, allowing us to use the sun's energy to cover part of our electricity consumption. We expect these systems to help us achieve electricity savings of 10-30% from the second half of 2024.
Solar panels for domestic water heating have been in the ATRIUM hotel since 2008-2010, and their gradual introduction to other hotels is part of our future plans. These panels bring savings of 10 - 20% in the hot water used in the rooms and kitchens.
Efficient heating and insulation
The energy-saving condensing boilers, which have been in operation in the ATRIUM hotel since 2010, reduce energy consumption for heating and hot water by 30-40% compared to conventional boilers. The first phase of their installation was also carried out in the SENEC hotel and the second phase is planned. Hotel SITNO does not have such a system yet, but it is part of future investments. The insulation of buildings and replacement of windows is gradually being carried out in all hotels to minimise heat loss.
This process has already been completed in Hotel SENEC and ATRIUM, while Hotel SITNO is still in the process of gradually replacing the windows so that the well-being of our guests is not disturbed.
The thermal borehole in Hotel SITNO, implemented in 2007, ensures the supply of pure thermal water with a temperature of 28 °C. The water with a high iron content is also suitable for rehabilitation procedures, especially for musculoskeletal problems.
Energy efficiency and savings
Main electricity switches were put in place when the rooms were refurbished, effectively saving electricity. In Hotel SITNO this system is already in operation in the whole building, in Hotel SENEC it is introduced in part C and in Hotel ATRIUM it is being implemented gradually during the reconstruction of the rooms.
LED lighting and water-saving taps contribute to reducing energy and water consumption. Modern shower heads and taps help reduce water consumption by up to 30%. A complete replacement has been carried out at Hotel SITNO, while partial replacements are being carried out at Hotel SENEC and Hotel ATRIUM as part of the renovations.
Eco-friendly solutions for outdoor spaces
Charging stations for electric vehicles have been available in all our hotels for 7-8 years. They are currently being upgraded, with the SENEC and ATRIUM Hotels already having undergone the upgrade and the SITNO Hotel preparing for it in 2025.
Irrigation systems using wells enable efficient irrigation of the gardens in the hotel areas, thus reducing the consumption of potable water.
